Revell of Germany Models

Originally the German subsidiary of the Revell plastic model company founded in California over 60 years ago, Revell of Germany has been operating independently of Revell since 2006. After spending time as a European distributer of Revell plastic model kits, Revell of Germany progressed to manufacturing and releasing its own plastic model kits in 1971. From its first release, a huge 1/8 scale model BMW, to its current extensive product line, every plastic model kit Revell of Germany develops is molded to the highest quality. They highlight the unique characteristics of a wide range of European and American automobiles, while each plastic model tank, ship, and aircraft accurately depicts its real-life counterpart. Plus, there is some satisfaction in owning a model kit of a fine German automobile made by a German company.

Newer releases feature modern molds with higher levels of authenticity, but Revell of Germany even rereleases some of its older kits to provide modelers with a sense of nostalgia when assembling them. Through collaborations with Boeing and various auto makers, Revell of Germany has consistently been able to release plastic model kits that are characteristically well-detailed. Every year this top plastic model company conducts thorough research to release a large number of new model kits. In fact, Revell of Germany stays so well-informed, it has been able to release a new model plane kit before the maiden flight of its subject. Skill levels range from one to five, with some of the more advanced model kits requiring truly advanced modeling techniques to accurately finish them.
