Two large sprues hold all of the parts to the U-Boot Biber, but additional pieces include a small sheet of photo-etch for some of the finer details, finishing decals, and a sheet of clear parts for windows in the tower of the submarine model kit. Every piece of this World War II German U-boat model is faithfully represented down to the gauges and the dual steering wheel in the cockpit. The rudders in this submarine model kit demonstrate how the Biber U-boat was able to effectively submerge and maneuver underwater. While this model ship kit displays the Biber with two torpedoes at the ready, the actual submarine was hastily designed and constructed, so even with the arsenal, it was never a game-changer during the second World War.

Two German officers are included for modelers to assemble, and when they are placed next to the Biber, they provide a shocking perspective of how small this one man submarine actually was. But, it was that small size that made it ideal for patrolling the shore lines to prevent any offensive from allied forces. Decals offer a number of finishing options, such as two sets of eyes and whether or not to use the shark style teeth or crazy teeth on the front of the Biber model kit. Expert model detailers may want to apply a camouflage paint job to match the finished submarine model kit to the picture on the box. Once the Biber Midget Submarine is fully assembled, it can be placed on the included display stand with name plate decals and the two German officers standing next to it.
